A brief summary of Quranic activities and achievements

Quranic reciter and hafiz al-kal and international judge and teacher of the Holy Quran

Professor Mohammad Amir Tawhidi:

Hajja al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Professor Mohammad Amir Tohidi is a well-known, prominent and pious Afghan figure in the Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Al-Alamiyah community. In addition to his higher education at the seminary, he is a reciter and hafiz al-kal and international judge of the Holy Quran and a professor of interpretation at the Imam Sadiq (PBUH) Seminary in Varamin city. He has achieved many honors in this field for himself and our country. He was born in 1975 in the province of Daikundi, in the district of Shahran, and currently resides in Iran and the holy city of Qom. In this article, we intend to briefly mention Professor Tohidi's Quranic honors:

1. Winning third place in the category of memorizing the entire Holy Quran in the international competition of the Holy Quran in Iran, Tehran (2004)

2. Obtaining third place in the overall memorization category of the International Quran Competition in Dubai, UAE with the participation of 73 countries (2004) as the first Shiite medalist in the history of this competition.

3. Obtaining third place in the recitation category of the first International Quran Competition for Students of the Islamic World in Iran, Isfahan (2006)

4. Obtaining third place in the overall memorization category of the second International Quran Competition for Students of the Islamic World in Iran, Tehran (2008)

5. Obtaining first place in the overall memorization category of the 17th International Quran and Hadith Olympiad of Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Al-Alamiyah University (2011)

6. Obtaining first place in the overall memorization category of the 17th International Quran and Hadith Olympiad of Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Al-Alamiyah University (2011)

7. Obtaining second place in the annual Tafsir Hawza competition by the Tafsir Headquarters of Qom Seminary (2015)

8. Obtaining first place in the field of memorization of the whole Quran, recitation, tartil, interpretation, and azan in the provincial competitions of Qom and national competitions, including: Matal al-Fajr, Fajr al-Quran, and al-Mustafa (pbuh) al-Alamiyah.

9. Obtaining full marks in the annual exams for memorizing the whole Quran in different years at the Quran and Hadith Center of al-Mustafa (pbuh) al-Alamiyah.

10. Reciting tartil for seven years next to the Holy Mosque of Hazrat Masoumeh (pbuh), performing memorization and tartil in the Quranic courtyard of the Imam Reza (pbuh) shrine, and performing a recitation program in the courtyard of the Imam Ali (pbuh) shrine.

11. Appearing prominently on Afghan television (Kawthar, Tamadon, Rah al-Farda, Negah, etc.) and performing a program introducing the reciters of the Islamic world and teaching phonetics, intonation, and tajweed.

12. Managing the Dar al-Quran of the blessed Marashiya school from 1998 to 2002

13. Member of the jury in the third international Quran competition for students of religious sciences of the Islamic world, 1999

14. Member of the jury in the International Quran and Hadith Olympiad of the Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiyah Society.

15. Member of the jury in the Holy Quran competitions of Central Asian students at Al-Rasul University, Gorgan.

16. Participation in two editions of the International Holy Quran Festival of Aba Al-Fadl (AS) in Iraq with the presence of Quranic figures from the Islamic world (Professor Seyyed Metwally Abdul-Aal, Professor Farajullah Shazli, etc.)

17. Being selected as the best missionary for two consecutive years by the Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiyah Society for his Quranic activities in Afghanistan.

18. Member of the jury in the Holy Quran competitions of Afghan refugees residing in the holy cities of Qom and Tehran.

19. Member of the jury in the Holy Quran competitions of the Imam Hadi Cultural Institute (AS)

20. Member of the jury in the local and county competitions in the Holy Quran in various cities such as Pishwa, Pakdasht, Qarchak and Shahr-e Ray.

21. Member of the jury in the Holy Quran competitions of the IRGC in the holy city of Qom.

22. Founder and first chairman of the Central Assembly of Qaris and Memorisers of Afghanistan, residing in the holy city of Qom. Year of establishment (1936).

23. Teaching specialized voice and tone and Tajweed of the Holy Quran in the city of Varamin with the presence of top reciters. (One session per week).

24. Professor of interpretation and memorization of the Holy Quran at Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) Seminary in Varamin city.

25. Being honored to receive an honorary bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Arabic Language and Literature, Wasit Province University, Iraq, for performing Quranic programs at the International Saeed bin Jubeir Festival and presenting an article about the scientific and practical personality of Saeed bin Jubeir (RA) in Arabic in 2014.

26. Obtaining the title of excellent student in the Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Al-Alamiyah Society for two consecutive years.

27. Teaching the explanation of the poems of the introduction of Al-Jazariyya on the subject of Tajweed in the Kawthar Cultural Association, one of the active associations under the auspices of the Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Al-Alamiyah Society, for one year.

28. Three years of teaching Quranic programs at the Quran and Itrat School, belonging to respected Urdu-speaking students (Pakistan, India and Kashmir)

29. Teaching memorization of the Holy Quran at the Noor al-Thaqlain Quranic and Hadith Center in Qom under the supervision of the Mustafa (PBUH) World Community.

30. Teaching Tajweed, sound and tone, end and beginning, principles of recitations (parts of Shatibiyyah), introduction to al-Jazriya and concepts of the Holy Quran from 1376 to the present at the Afghan Qariyan and Hafizan Assembly in Qom.

31. Holding a Quran recitation session with the enthusiastic presence of Afghan Qariyan and Hafizan from 1376 to the present at the Afghan Qariyan and Hafizan Assembly in Qom (one session per week)

32. Managing 6 Quran competitions in the field of (recitation and memorization) and holding dozens of gatherings for familiarization with the Quran or a night with the Quran, which have been held by the Afghan Qariyan and Hafizan Assembly in Qom.

He is also currently studying for a master's degree in propaganda and communications (media religion) at the Al-Mustafa (PBUH) Al-Alamiyah Community.
